Honoring Tradition and Progress: Join Us for a Fire Engine Push-In Ceremony

The Pacific Grove Fire Department invites the community to a Fire Engine Push-In Ceremony, a time-honored tradition that marks the arrival of a new or refurbished fire engine into service. The event celebrates both the department's heritage and its commitment to modern emergency response.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the symbolic act of pushing the fire engine into the station, a practice dating back to the days of horse-drawn apparatus. The ceremony will include remarks from local officials and firefighters, followed by light refreshments. All are welcome to join in honoring the department's past and future.
